Little St Mary’s Nursery is a teacher led nursery and a registered provider of childcare on non-domestic premises on the Early Years Register. We fully comply with the requirements for the Early Years Register set out in the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage. All places at Little St Mary’s Nursery are subject to availability, taking into account staff/child ratios, the age of the child and space requirements.

Little St Mary’s Nursery provides care for children 3 years and above living in Studley and surrounding areas. We are based in a building at the back of St. Mary’s Catholic Primary School. The building has been extensively developed and redesigned to provide a first-class, warm and welcoming environment for children and their families. It provides an excellent venue for our children to participate in a wide variety of activities, supervised by our experienced staff.

We offer a safe, welcoming environment where children can learn through play. Play helps young children to learn and develop through doing and talking, which research has shown to be the means by which young children learn to think.

Outside there is a landscaped secure garden which is accessible in all weathers where we have developed a woodland garden area which has a mini beast hotel, digging area and a mud kitchen with lots of opportunity for exploring. Little St Mary’s also have use of St. Mary’s outdoor facilities which contributes to their physical development and their knowledge of the world around them. This includes use of their playgrounds and playing fields; as well as their tyre park, climbing equipment, slide and Forest School area.
